Design of a Summerhouse for the City of Prague /2005/ plaster model, 40 x 24 x 8 cm

The inner space of the city summerhouse lies under the level of the surrounding terrain. There is a gap between the floor and the shell of the construction rounding its inner perimeter. A fluorescent lamp placed behind it is producing very intensive light, which may create an illusion of some other supposed underground space. I’ve chosen bright blue colour for the floor to start a play of cold shades, accented by the floodlighting.
